May Song, Senior Research Associate
May recently graduated with a B.S. in Public Policy from the University of Southern California. May grew up in Hawai‘i, and its diverse community and complex history inspired her passion for community-oriented, equity-based policy and law. She is currently also a Policy Fellow at the City of LA’s Civil, Human Rights and Equity Department and previously interned at the Hawaii Department of Education’s Policy, Innovation, Planning, and Evaluation (PIPE) branch and the Opportunity and Inclusion branch of the Department of Commerce’s CHIPS Office. May is devoted to public service work and utilizing her personal skills and knowledge to address pressing issues impacting underserved communities.
